Amelie,

People seem to have a "mental pain threshold"... only when their pain exceeds it do they feel like taking remedial action.

As one would expect, the threshold level varies on an individual basis. It's almost like the "haircut threshold": some people wait till their hair's way overgrown, some run to the hairdresser the moment a single strand grows out by an eighth of an inch.

If people with high mental pain thresholds c0uld be made to lower them, more would not wait to hit rock bottom.

The question is, how do you help them lower their thresholds? Any ideas?

Best,

Lucky
